Crusader Kings is one of the most popular strategy games out there and has been around a decade-and-a-half. The latest installment Crusader Kings 3 already has the gaming world abuzz with its extremely detailed maps and three-dimensional characters. This game is also set during a new time, spanning between the Vikings to the Ottoman capture of Turkey. You get to build dynasties and arrange marriages as well as form all sorts of alliances and make key tactical military decisions. This game is set to be released September 1, so keep an eye out for it.²

Elden Ring

Elden Ring is still shrouded in mystery, but this game comes from the creator of the wildly successful Dark Souls game Hidetaka Miyazaki and this alone has led to an enormous amount of anticipation. The game is actually being co-developed by Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, so you can expect some epic fantasy storylines and action to be coming your way in Elden Ring. Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is due out November 19 of this year and it’s already got gamers jumping off their chairs with excitement and anticipation. It’s the most highly awaited game since Witcher 3 and is full of all sorts of high tech gadgets and storylines. You can also modify your body and abilities as you accomplish crucial missions in Night City, California alongside interactions with a centrally important character played by Keanu Reeves. Empire of Sin

Romero Games is out with a new game set in Chicago during Prohibition when gangsters traded alcohol and built empires of profits. The release date is set for between October to December this year. The game is a turn-based strategy game that you view from an overhead angle and is sort of similar to the extremely fun XCOM franchise. However, unlike XCOM, in Empire of Sin you aren’t fighting aliens, you’re fighting rivals in the liquor trade and trying to take over their territory from distilleries to speakeasies and other houses of ill repute. This game looks like it will be great fun and will be worth your time to check out.²
